About Central Methodist University's Adult Degree Program
Central Methodist University (CMU) has been a driving force in Missouri higher education for many years and always at the forefront of creating new programs to fit the changing times.
Now CMU has opened a new learning center right here in St. Louis. If you’re a working adult and traditional methods of earning a college degree don’t work for you, then CMU's Adult Degree Program (ADP) is the right fit for you.
In CMU’s Adult Degree Program, you will take one class at a time at a convenient location near home or work. Classes are small, tuition is affordable and you receive immediate, personalized attention at any time.
At CMU, professors blend academic theory with real-world experience that will give you the most up-to-date insights available in their field. In CMU’s Adult Degree Program, you will gain the practical knowledge and leadership skills that have made CMU graduates valued by employers for the past 155 years.
In addition, the adult degree programs at CMU will give you the professional edge you need in business today. And, the accelerated format means you will graduate in less time than you can imagine.
Accelerated Format
At CMU, courses are offered in a format designed specifically for working adults. In order to accommodate students' busy schedules, classes are offered at several convenient locations. Plus, students can take one class at a time. CMU’s one-time registration process is completed at the beginning of the student’s program.
Because CMU understands that many adult students have taken courses at a variety of colleges, CMU accepts transfer credits from regionally and some nationally accredited institutions. Also, CMU recognizes most American Council on Education (ACE) recommendations, including military training related credits. When a student applies, CMU orders official copies of their transcripts and conducts an evaluation to determine which credits will transfer. ADP is structured to accommodate working professionals, enabling them to achieve their educational goals as quickly as possible while balancing their busy professional and personal lives.
